Do You Really Get MLM?

This past Halloween I was trick or treating with my kids. As they went up to each house I waited at the bottom of each driveway as did most of the other parents. I heard two of the fathers speaking. One said to the other “Well it’s one of those MLM/network marketing things but the product is so good.”

I chuckled to myself. He was discounting the network marketing aspect when in fact it’s because of network marketing that he’s enjoying the benefits of the product that is “so good.”

I’ve also heard people say with respects to network marketing some version of “For ethical reasons I do not believe in pyramid schemes.”

This brings us to my first point: Simply put network marketing is not a pyramid scheme or pyramid program.

To digest my above statement you need a definition for pyramid program.

Pyramid Program: 1 a program where people invest money based on the promise that other people will invest money and money will filtrate back to all who invest; 2 a program which is strictly a money game and has no basis in real commerce. Meaning there is no product involved and only money is changing hands.

Based on the above definition you can see how modernday pyramid programs may have a product but it’s there just to disguise the money game. It’s not hard to spot these. Simply ask yourself if you’re getting value for what you would be paying for the product or service.

To put it another way: does the price for the product or service seem inflated? Are you being told not to worry about paying that amount of money because you’ll “get it back and then some” once you get someone else to join?

Also if a program offers to pay commissions for recruiting new distributors you might be dealing with a program that is bordering on being a pyramid. Most state laws prohibit this practice stating that a networkmarketing program can only pay commissions for sales of goods or services not for recruiting new distributors.

Why? To protect people who get involved in the program.

Let me explain. If a program pays commissions for recruiting new distributors that program is in jeopardy of collapsing if no new distributors are recruited. When a program collapses most of the people involved lose their money. They also loose the benefits of all of their hard.

In contrast network marketing is a not game and does not compensate for recruiting new distributors.

What network marketing is: Network marketing or multilevel marketing MLM is a legitimate business model. The cornerstone of the network marketing business model is leverage.

Many of us have heard the name J. Paul Getty. He created one of the world’s greatest fortunes. Getty said “I would rather make 1 percent on the efforts of 100 people than 100 percent on my own efforts.”

Getty was illustrating leverage. So let’s look at how one leverages oneself in network marketing:

John joins a network marketing company as an independent distributor. He starts talking to people about the company’s products and business program. Some people buy the products. John receives commissions on these sales.

Some of the people John talks to who purchase products and also signup to be distributors. John’s new distributors start talking to people and some of these people purchase product. John receives commissions on these sales as well. John has leveraged himself.

Here is another fact to digest: In network marketing the better a person is at training teaching and coaching the people they recruit into the business the better that person does financially.

John can further leverage himself by helping the people he brings into the business typically referred to as the people that he “sponsors” to sponsor others thus duplicating himself.

As this process continues you create compound growth that can lead to hundreds or even thousands of people coming into your business. You leverage your time by helping others be successful and earn an income from all their efforts.

Being successful in network marketing takes skill dedication time and work. Realistically few people get rich and some make a parttime income. Those who do well in network marketing work hard stick with it and aren’t turned off by the “rah rah” involved in getting others to try something or to join their organization.

Do Not Fall Into The Trap Of Affiliate Marketing With The Mask Of Easy Ad Typing Jobs

Now the world is completely networked and there are plenty of opportunities available in the Internet to work from home and earn a reasonable income. But there are legitimate and nonlegitimate businesses online. It is very important to find out the difference between them as there are people who try to make huge income through scams.

There are various kinds of scams available in the internet in online businesses like scams in data entry jobs scams in ad tying jobs scams in chain letters etc. The aim of this article is to make the readers aware on scams in ad typing jobs in internet.

Ad posting job is typing advertisements online for the companies who require marketing their products/services in the Internet. This is a kind of data entry job where the online job seeker has to key the advertisement of the product in various web sites provided by the company itself. The person will be paid based on the number of ads he typed. When it is so transparent where does this scam enter into such keying jobs? Please read further.

There are plenty of ad typing job offers placed in the internet which induces the readers to make quick money with little effort. The offer will say that the reader does not require any skill or experience to do the job. You will be asked to pay a membership fee say 40 to join the scheme. Once you become the member you will be given the advertisement phrase and also the lists of sites and forums where you have to paste the advertisement. Then you will be asked to key or paste the advertisement in the given sites. The advertisement will even say like you will get paid for EVERY ad you type regardless of the outcome sales or responses that are generated.

Also there are various schemes published to attract the readers that you can join as platinum gold silver members. Different rate is quoted for different kind of membership. For platinum member there is a higher membership fee with higher returns quote. For a gold member the fee and return is lesser and for a silver member it is further lesser. It will also mention that the membership fee is refundable within a week’s time.

To make matters worse they publish testimonials of income earned by experienced internet marketers. This gives the reader the false impression that one has the potential to earn hundreds of dollars per week having no prior experience by simply “typing ads”.

Obviously a job seeker who wants to earn good money with just typing skill will end up with paying higher membership fee. Once he joins as a member he will follow the instructions as per the scheme.

He will face the reality after few weeks coming to know that they are scams in ad typing jobs and he cannot get any penny in return and all his efforts have become vain. Even if he tries to cancel the membership and wish to take back the money he cannot.

Truly speaking if you sign on with any of these companies as “ad typist” “home typist” or “independent typist” you will never be working so. Instead you will be working on the affiliate programs or the associate programs the companies operate. You can succeed in these ad typing jobs only if you can market in their affiliate programs.

No experienced internet marketer will say that you can make tons of money just by simply typing ads. It is often a tactic used by the companies to use the newcomers to promote their business online through affiliate programs which they refer as ad typing jobs. If the person cannot do better marketing through affiliate programs he will end up with frustration very soon and start believing that earning an income through these jobs are highly impossible.

So you have to be very careful in joining such ad typing jobs. To protect yourself from such scams in ad typing jobs do a 100 investigation and always have a third party consultation that is aware of scams in the internet.

Discover The Success Within

Remember the saying ‘Success leaves clues’? Well for people that are investigating how to create massive improvements in their lives this rings true in every sense of the word. We’ve heard it all before that if we haven’t created the dreams that we so desire in our lives then we haven’t taken the necessary actions to make them happen. Or even worse we gave up.

Having read a ton of personal development books and attended numerous seminars and events my research has arrived to the conclusion that there is a pattern to success. A pattern as such that if anyone were to use it they would be able to create any reality that they want in their lives. One of the biggest common traits that exists in anyone who has succeeded at the highest levels is that they persisted time and time again until they reached their destination. In other words…they didn’t give up.

The key principle to persistence is the realization that you are fully responsible for your own reality. Deep within yourself you have a capability that can absolutely bring forth any abundance you can think of if tapped into. This capability is knowing that you are the master of your own thoughts and feelings and with that those same emissions have the power to effect everything around you everything within the realm of your influence.

Think of people’s minds as being radio antennas. Every single second we are emitting signal not only on the physical plane but also in the spiritual and universal planes as well. And what is being put out there will in turn be reacted to. For instance when you become depressed everything seems to get worse and worse and when that happens how does the universe react? It tends to manifest itself and attracts more of what you are thinking and feeling at that time. And in most cases the manifestation doesn’t stop there people and situations show up in your life that are vibrating at the same wavelength and so the depression seems to become the only reality for you.

Fortunately this can change as quickly as you can think it and this is what successful people know and implement on a daily basis. They know that the universe is a reactive organism and so the ultimate key to financial success or any greatness for that matter is to come from a complete mindset of abundance. Seeing the world as if there is plenty of everything to go around. Visualizing everything as you need it and never endorsing scarcity.

The mind is a powerful thing and indeed it takes commitment and dedication to weed out all of the things that you don’t need and planting the thoughts that radiate and attract success as if there were no tomorrow. Working on and training your mind and attitude every single day will reap massive benefits and once you have established this habit you’ll see things show up in your life that you never even dreamed of.

This is how highly successful people think and interact with the world every day and anyone has access to the same tools that they are using which means that success is possible for ANYONE if they take action. If you view the world as being abundant you will attract that exact same idea into your reality.

The only thing we have to remember is that we are the creators of our own reality. Everything we perceive experience and feel is all from within us. Any with that knowledge we can shift our paradigms as quick as we can think it and with that there is no limitation to what we can do.

Delivering an Effective Speech Introduction

Any public speaker understands that it is important to win over your audience from the very beginning. This means speaking in such a way that your audience is forced to focus on you especially when you begin speaking. Not just anyone has the attributes to be a good public speaker. As a public speaker you need such skills as perseverance patience a positive attitude and the ability to motivate a crowd.visit at http://onlinetypingwork.blogspot.com

To be great at public speaking you have to be able to wow your audience from the start. This means producing a great speech introduction. You have to know your material extremely well but know how to deliver it in a nonboring way. A great way to start an introduction speech is by grabbing your audience’s attention right away. You can do this in a number of ways. An introduction speech sample would be like sitting in a chair and standing up in the back room as you are announced then walk across a chair or two or even walk across a desk as you proceed to the front of the room. This will surely grab the audience since they did not expect that. Or maybe you can look at your audience as you come up front and yell some kind of instruction or message at them expecting a response.http://onlinetypingwork.blogspot.com

Other examples of speech introduction may be when you tell your audience to take out a piece of paper and prepare to write down a list of the most important topics you will give in the speech. This will raise their anticipation level knowing to expect something valuable to be told to them. Or you can start off your speech by telling a spellbinding story. That will really captivate your audience in a hurry and hold their attention. This is especially true if you are an enthusiastic speaker.

If you are new to public speaking you can learn how to start a speech by listening to those who are experts at it. By paying attention to those who have done it for years you’ll be able to pick up a trick or two and improve your delivery.

The key to any great speech is by starting off with a great speech introduction and then going forward keeping your audience in mind and giving them a reason to listen to what you have to say. The more you do this the more you’ll find your public speaking ability increasing and the more speaking opportunities you’ll gain.http://onlinetypingwork.blogspot.com

Delay Is Almost Always Costly: Act Now To Profit More!

In the 1930s a sudden wind swept an American heliumfilled airship aloft from its moorings. The rising ship carried away some of the rope crew as well. Most let go right away and suffered no worse than sprains. Others held on until they lost their grip. Each time a man let go the dirigible leapt higher. Those who hesitated longest fell to their deaths. Procrastination can be deadly!

Procrastinators believe that if they do nothing and wait long enough any bad situation will take care of itself. Or if it does not resolve itself it will simply go away. Many even insist that procrastination is a form of work explaining that they are letting their thinking percolate. With that point of view they feel no concern about delay.

In most situations almost any direct action is better than no action. If nothing else you’ll learn from what you try and then refocus in a more productive direction. In support of this view Thomas Edison made thousands of unsuccessful attempts to invent a practical light bulb. Edison saw what he was doing as “learning” rather than “failing.” Clearly his approach speeded up the process.

When fear is an element that fear can create a disastrous procrastination stall.

DON’T THINK TOO LONG ABOUT THAT

Fear and Trembling in the Executive Washroom

Fear rules many business leaders and their fear comes in many guises. One of America’s most admired CEOs feared any negative publicity. As a result he would only acquire smaller privately held companies knowing that public scrutiny would be minimal.

Another CEO trembled at the thought of being fired. The CEO frequently fired his key lieutenants for nonperformance hoping that the board of directors would be more dependent on him. As a result no one wanted to rock the boat and procrastination ruled every operation. When the company sold one of its businesses profits soon rose under either the same management or new management burdened with less fear.

Similarly when major layoffs occur many survivors feel worse than those who lost their jobs. If they cannot find new jobs these shellshocked troops will do anything to please including simply maintaining the status quo.

A different type of fear dogs those who aspire to be CEOs. Companies often pick two to five contenders and stage a two or threeyear “beauty” contest to see who will be the next leader. If your unit does well and no one else’s does you get to be the big boss. As you can imagine almost no one in that situation is going to try anything that might not work perfectly during the beauty contest.

It’s far easier to stand back and let others be innovative. But that’s the way to ruin not to progress. One CEO took avoidance to an extreme. Presented with a list of all the issues that the company had known about for five years and had never been resolved the CEO grabbed all the information and destroyed it. “This information is too important to get out” he said. But the first step in resolving any problem is to get it out in the open where it can no longer be ignored.

Like the CEO who got rid of the list of issues anxious executives often connect their fear to the wrong things. A company that had frequently failed with advanced technology products decided to pursue only lowtechnology products. That decision only made matters worse. In the meantime many areas blossomed where the company had developed advanced technology products. The company had simply developed its products a little too far in advance of customer demand.

Talk It to Death

Some companies build monuments to procrastination with neverending committees and lengthy studies by consultants. These actions give the appearance of doing something worthwhile. Employees relax and stop paying attention.

Organizational consultants frequently lengthen the delays by setting up a game of musical chairs. They recommend reworking the organization before addressing the old issues. It’s like telling those hanging onto the airship ropes to count to 200 before making a decision.

A Diversionary Tactic

Companies faced with seemingly insoluble problems will go out and buy new and bigger problems to draw attention away from the existing issues. ATT is thought by some to have used this approach in acquiring NCR under the leadership of Bob Allen. NCR was later sold for a loss of 5 billion after costing NCR employees thousands of jobs. ATT’s declining position in longdistance telephone services remained unresolved.

STALL ERASERS

Practice Practice Practice: Success Through Simulation

Wise companies assume that fear will freeze the unprepared into costly inaction. Is that what you want airline pilots to do when they hit terrible turbulence? Of course not. The solution: Simulate extreme conditions and allow employees to become accustomed to making timely decisions and taking action. For example utility employees learn in a simulated nuclear plant by facing a potential core meltdown if they don’t act appropriately.

Listen the Answers Doth Bark!

To make faster progress track suggestions from the time they are made to the time of action. Some organizations go one step further and authorize employees to make improvements the employees suggest if no one objects within 30 days.

Do It Yourself

CEOs like to bring in consultants in part to blame unpopular or risky decisions on the outsiders. It is better to be forthright about what needs to be done and take any heat that develops … it’s faster too!

A Foolish Consistency Can Risk All

When Avon hired Hicks Waldron to be its CEO the company was earning less than the dividend it was paying to shareholders. Still Waldron promised publicly “I’ll never cut the dividend!”

It soon became clear that declaration was a mistake. Waldron avoided digging in his heels and looked for a solution. He offered shareholders a chance to keep the current dividend for three years or to switch to a more attractive new share that would enjoy faster earnings growth. Everyone was happy with one or the other and three years later dividends were down to what Avon could afford. By not letting himself be paralyzed by the fear of looking foolish Waldron found his 2000 percent solution to better reward shareholders.

STALLBUSTERS

Act First

When new CEO Lou Gerstner entered IBM he found a company frozen in inaction. He set about changing that by personal example and by sharing a new value of taking timely appropriate actions. Those who persisted in the old way soon found themselves looking for work elsewhere. The message was soon received and understood.

Answering these questions will help you identify where action should replace indepth analysis:

1. When should the customer be considered right and receive immediate recognition and resolution?

2. What threats to safety require immediate action?

3. What competitive actions require immediate responses by using your best judgment?

4. When two people in different parts of the organization do not agree when should one of them automatically prevail when should an automatic rule prevail and when would a coin flip suffice for the decision?

5. What problems should receive immediate action because they almost always get worse if ignored?

It’s Okay to Take a Chance on Action

Many delays occur because employees are afraid. They fear that mistakes will end their careers. To overcome the bias to play it safe everyone must know when they should act. These questions will help you clarify your optimal direction:

1. What is the minimum time needed to make a significantly better decision?

2. Worst case what can a delay cost you?

3. What deadlines are appropriate for taking action?

4. How can people be encouraged to overcome procrastination in routine situations?

Decorate Your Business Strategy For The Holidays

With holiday distractions just around the corner what can you proactively do during this time to keep your business flourishing and maybe give yourself a little holiday bonus in the process? The holidays are a busy time for everyone. They can often be a big distraction when it comes to trying to get any real business done. Customers are crunched for time and money; employees start to have sugar plum fairies dancing in their heads and unless you are a retailer buying your product or service you may not be a top priority for people. Make this holiday season a prosperous one for your business by using the following tips:

Given the constraints you know your customers and prospects are dealing with brainstorm a way to make their lives easier using your product or service. If there is not a direct link how about throwing in a gift card for a massage to ease their holiday stress?

Holiday cards are a great personal and nonintrusive way get back in front of your customers and partners and remind them that you care and are in this for a longterm relationship not just a quick sale.

Bored with Christmas cards? Try something new this year and send Thanksgiving or New Years cards to make your business really stand out.

Remember to cater to the multicultural world that we live in as it is relevant to your target market of course. Clearly you don’t want to offend anyone by making them feel your holiday cheer doesn’t include them but don’t feel you have to go so extreme that you politically correct all of the holiday cheer right on out of your seasons greetings. Be true to the spirit of your organization and to your target market.

Bring the joy of the season into your business by bringing in treats for employees and decorating the office or encouraging the employees to decorate the way they see fit. Performance quality is linked directly to happiness so doing things that make you employees happy to be at work will bring out their best efforts.

Take Thanksgiving literally and physically. Share it with the people who have made your business what it is. Take the time to give thanks for all the good in your business. Write it down on a little note card or even a cute postit note and give it out in the office. Thank your customers employees and anyone else who has helped your business blossom. Expressing and feeling gratitude sends a signal to the universe that you are open to receiving more good and will attract more of the same to you.

New Years resolutions need not just be personal. Make some resolutions for your business. At your January team meeting put resolutions on the agenda. Ask each staff member to come up with one or two resolutions for their job or department that will make the next year even better.

Holiday distractions can easily be turned into work enrichment. Use these tips and your business is sure to flourish this holiday season. For more information on how you can improve your business visit www.flourishingbusiness.com.

Decision Making: Identifies Issues Problems And Opportunities

Recognizes issues problems or opportunities and determines whether action is needed.
What sparks the decisionmaking process? In some cases it’s a request such as when your leader asks you to choose equipment to purchase reduce costs or delegate work. In other cases you might be aware of an issue that needs to be addressed. For example you:

Receive repeated feedback from customers about a product problem.

Believe an improvement to a current process could bolster productivity.

See an opportunity to increase market share by improving a product feature.

Even when you’re not the person who makes the decision you can improve the quality of the decision by identifying problems and opportunities. As a result people develop confidence in your ability to spot opportunities and contribute to good organizational decisions.

1. Recognize issues problems or opportunities.
Effective decision makers are proactive. They stay aware of issues unresolved problems or opportunities they can take advantage of. Chances are there’s a decision to be made if you have ideas for:

Improving work processes.

Reducing costs while maintaining quality or efficiency.

Improving customer service.

Increasing enthusiasm of associates.

Bolstering sales or profits.

Example: John noticed that his team’s overtime hours had increased over the past year yet output levels had remained the same. When he asked the team why John learned that requests for custom packaging had gone up 25 percent but due to the current equipment custom packaging orders took longer to fill. He also found out that the organization charged the same price for custom and regular packaging. By correctly recognizing the problemsincreased overtime amount of time to fill custom orders and potential lost revenue on custom ordersJohn and his team faced two decisions: how to decrease overtime and whether the demand for custom packaging justifies modernizing the equipment and raising the price for custom packaging.

To determine if you have a “decision in the making” ask yourself:

Are coworkers frequently complaining about work?

Are deadlines being missed or jobs being done incorrectly?

Are there an unusual number of misunderstandings or conflicts between/among departments?

Is there a trend in customer feedback?

Do I have an opportunity to provide a product or service that the competition can’t?

To obtain specific information about your potential decision check the following sources:Includes sales or performance records ideas taken from suggestion boxes and informal communication gathered via your network team meetings task forces and quality committees. Includes competitor information research reports and customer surveys and feedback.

Internal data.

External data.

2. Define the desired outcomes criteria and decision.
After recognizing that a need or opportunity exists write a clear description of your desired outcomes the criteria your decision needs to meet and what you hope to decide. Doing this helps you:

Determine whether a decision or action is needed.

Confirm that you’re addressing the “right” situation.

Ensure that your decision yields the results you want.

Desired outcomes refer to the results you want to achieve for example exceeding customer expectations or increasing productivity. Outcomes also might include how people should feel about the results. When defining desired outcomes consider:

What you hope to accomplish.

How you want those affected by the decision to feel or act.

For example if you want to buy a winter coat your desired outcomes would be to stay warm and to receive comments such as “That’s a stylish coat.” are the measurable and observable characteristics the decision must meet. Criteria are broadly categorized into quality cost and time. Your criteria for buying a new winter coat might include:

Criteria

Warmth provided quality.

Money you’re willing to spend cost.

The need to purchase the coat before winter arrives time.

A decision states the specific choice to be made. By knowing the results you want you can clearly describe the decision to achieve those results.

Defining your decision accurately depends on identifying the desired outcomes you want to achieve and the criteria the decision must meet. Another key element of your accuracy is involving others. Seeking others’ input helps to ensure that the right decision is made and that people support and understand the decision. Otherwise if you assume the desired outcomes and decision criteria you risk defining the decision incorrectly and getting results much different than what you expected.

Example: A large beverage manufacturer spent millions of dollars and many years trying to outdo its competitors’ packaging based on an inaccurate decision definition: “What bottle shape can we develop that will be as memorable as theirs?” However the manufacturer’s actual desired outcomes were for people to drink more of their beverage and ultimately increase market sharenot to have recognizable packaging. After reassessing its desired outcomes and redefining the decision accurately as “How can we get people to drink more of our beverage?” the manufacturer freed its thinking and invented the successful large plastic liter bottle. Market share soared Russo and Schoemaker 1989.

3. Determine whether action is needed.
Now that you’ve defined the situation in terms of desired outcomes and criteria and checked the decision to be made you’re in a better position to determine whether action is needed. Consider the time and energy it would take to work through the decision and determine whether your and others’ efforts are worth the investment. Think about:

Who needs to be involved in the decision. Are they available and will they be supportive?

What actions might need to be taken and who will initiate them.

Whether your leaders would support your decisionmaking process.

What time and money are needed to research the decision.

How confident you are that you know the cause of the situation.

Who else might be working on a similar decision.

Compare the time and energy it would take to work through the decision to the impact of not making the decision. Is it worth the investment? Based on the information you’ve compiled you might determine that action isn’t needed. If one or more of the following situations exist don’t take action:

The process will take too long and the opportunity will be missed.

The effort is greater than the reward.

There is little to no consequence for not taking action.

Crucial Tips To Overcoming Objections In Network Marketing

An expression from your prospect of what appears to them to be a reason why they cannot buy or consume what they have a need want or desire for what you have to offer is a good definition of an objection. Unless you are extremely rude to a person during your conversation objections rarely have anything to do with you.

Objections always come from a FEAR False Expectation Appearing Real. How many times have you had a fear of something with which you didn’t even have an experience? I have a fear of snakes but why? I’ve never encountered a snake been bitten by one or even known anyone personally who has had a bad experience with a snake.

The reason we have a fear for something that is unjustified is because we assume we are afraid of it. It is this reason that people will be skeptical without even having tried your product or service. They heard a rumor through the grapevine that someone loses all their hair when they took the product you represent. Again this has nothing to do with you.

The good news is that because assumptions are unjustified there are techniques you can use to show a person the logic behind their way of thinking. Once you do that you can then show how the person needs what you have enough to justify the logic of parting with their money. Taking this approach with a targeted audience is the essence of proper marketing.

After having been in Network Marketing for over ten years I have heard just about every excuse in the book. Everything from “I have to talk to my doctor first” to “My neighbor’s cousin took those products and her left toe turned green.” Whether it’s skepticism or procrastination people make excuses because they don’t have a strong enough want need or desire for what you have to offer.

Talking to a spouse is the number one excuse that most people use as a procrastination technique and it’s not legitimate either . If it was you would feel the need to call your spouse in a grocery store every time you are trying to decide what food to buy. But because the items in your cart provides a need want or desire and the store is credible you buy and logically justify it without talking to our spouse.

The concept of money and what is considered expensive or cheap is emotional. It’s not based on fact because everyone makes different amounts of income and lives in different areas. A doctor in Iowa can make more money in Las Vegas but not as much to equal the cost of living. It all comes down to a scale.

If you make a 100000 a year in Iowa and a house cost 90000 to live in you’re in pretty good shape. But if you pick up and move your practice to Las Vegas you can make 150000 a year but the same house will cost you about 300000 to live in. The cost of living suddenly increases and this is how the concept of money becomes emotional.

Knowing the mindset of the person you are speaking with is an extremely important part of overcoming objections. In order to show them how they can justify the logic of trading their money for your product or service you have to know what kind of person they are and what problems they have on a daily basis.

If you are talking with someone in New York City for example they are likely to punch you with questions to see how you will bounce back. This is not objecting to you or your product it’s simply their way of getting to know you. They put up a defense. You have to get to know them first before they will trust you.

You can’t treat the person in New York City in the same way that you would a person living in California. That mindset is more focused on making you think they are wealthy enough to afford your product but in reality they might not be able to. You would have to encounter their objections in a totally different way.

Overcoming objections in Network Marketing is something that must be mastered in order to succeed because it is a part of the business. It will never go away and you will always have to deal with it. The more eduaction you receive on how to properly market the better your skill set will become and the more successful your business will be.

Creating A Team

Teams come in all shapes and all sizes from a two member couple racing against time and the environment in ‘The Amazing Race’ to crowds cheering slogans and admiring the skills of the soccer teams of Real Madrid and Manchester United. History is witness to the success and failure of teams with the clicheacute;d yet true adage that ‘United we stand and divided we fall’. For people torn between national religious cultural and ethnic sentiments the team concept has percolated down to all aspects of our society.

Certain intrinsic characteristics and motivations drive teams in all fields of life towards achieving their dreams both at the group level and on a personal front. The same way a diamond is graded according to its 4Cs teams are built towards success on certain ground rule ‘C’ principles. Team formation is governed by a set of people who adhere to fixed rules which can be categorized as a Charter. It is the binding force forming the do’s and don’ts of participation. Clear expectations from the leader of the team or the team itself need to be determined at the very beginning so that the operating principles are clearly defined. The reason for the team to be functional could range within any known bounds of rationality.

There are people of different skill sets talents and capabilities. If all performance were on a constant measurable scale mankind would not have progressed very far on account of different levels of tasks requiring specialized requirements. A good team is a balanced one with each specific advantage that every member holds over the other in harmony. Blended collaboration ensures that all members contribute in a significant capacity to bring out the best in each one of the team players.

The two keys factors for success in any field is Commitment and Consistency. If the goal or the end result is the same for all the team can become a force to be reckoned with. As much as we would like to believe that Michel Schumacher is extremely talented behind a set of hot wheels car racing is team work as with any other sport. Ensuring the car is serviced to the prime guiding through the racing track and ensuring that the wheels sets are changed to the count of seconds speaks volumes of a team geared to work at the optimum level of efficiency.

Control over the known and unknown factors to the maximum extent implies that the team not only functions knowing the set of variables but also keeps a margin for errors as well as adequately prepared with backup contingencies. Sending the Pathfinder to Mars had its own share of mishaps and setbacks but the success story is an inspiration for future generations of space lovers and star seekers.

Mankind progression was quantum in nature with the invention of the wheel the discovery of fire and the will to realize that quality of life improved through innovations. Caution must be exercised between innovation merely for the novelty of the idea and creative innovation which implies challenging the known frontiers of concepts towards something more profound and beneficial for humanity. People had scoffed at the idea of man being ever able to fly in the beginning of the last century yet 45 years later Bomber planes were flying over uncharted territories. Creative innovation is one of the driving forces for progress on all fronts.

There can be consequences to innovation and collaboration … 9/11 is an example to the horrors unleashed within a span of a few seconds. Teamwork was as crucial as the mastermind behind the chain of events which shocked the world.

Effective communication channels should be a two way process to avoid misunderstandings ensure a smooth flow of dialogue and act as a motivator to urge the team towards excellence.

Ballads have been sung for great heroes down history. Team dynamics have grown more sophisticated and cutthroat as everyone vies to be the best in their respective fields. We vote for our leaders but it has never been a one man show. The new President of the United States is proof that with a great team one can start rewriting history and perhaps the beginning of a success story.
